[hometext] => This was written in a time of great turmoil for myself - and everyone else.
[bodytext] => Black clouds gather
In the night;
Birds that scatter
Out of sight.
Rainbows form
High in the sky;
Watching them
I want to cry.
Smoke will spread
With leaps and bounds;
Much like sickness
On the grounds.
Fire grows
With breaths of air;
Chaos reigns
With strength to scare.
Gather round
There/'/s strength in us;
Stick together
Don/'/t make a fuss.
Sun will shine
Like a soothing balm;
If we stay strong
Chaos will calm.

I hope you don’t live somewhere where wildfires were happening. At least I hope things are going better now and you and your loved ones are safe.
Very visual piece. I’m glad you were able to put it into words and share.
I really like the last two lines especially:
//If we stay strong
Chaos will calm.//
Chaos will calm. Well done.
