[hometext] => /'/A Multitude of Woes/'/ was based on diary notes dating from the 19th of March 2014, with revisions being made the following November, and I have only sporadically identified with it since.
[bodytext] => Yes, there was a time
I was obsessed by melancholy,
I saw deep sadness,
The quality that so tormented
My former favoured idols,
Poets, painters,
Musicians, actors,
Creators of every kind,
As glamorous and romantic,
But it’s not,
It’s not remotely romantic,
When you yourself are adrift,
And weighed down
By a multitude of woes.

I wish you nothing but peace!
My daughter struggles with
depression, she/'/s so smart,
it is horrid.
I know friends of mine
who are so very talented
who struggle.
It/'/s so hard to figure this
problem out.
Some day it is going
to happen, the break through.
I read this, and you have
this identity, that is you
I thank you for writing!
Peace! |

Lovely indeed.
I think the gifted are granted talent by God as their own lives torment them and this is an olive branch to explore a new world.... At least I like to think so. |
