When Microsoft ventures into the realm of transport
And the Windows car is born, 4 wheels Intel Core i15

I/'/ll be late for work, risking dismissal from intolerant boss
Not from the thick wall of traffic sprawling before me
But the life sapping wait for Engine Management Service Pack 2 to download

Carefree Sunday meandering down dusty lanes, chasing setting sun
Shattered by dashboard lights and "Unexpected Error Please Restart"
Carpark zombie in update mode, binary slave

Watching life evaporate between reboot and rainsoaked wiper blades
The brave new world offers opportunity, professes to be our Saviour
Yet damns us all with the broken promise of the Internet Of Things

Will the fuel of today be compatible with the car of tomorrow
Or will each new day be "Exciting offer to upgrade"
When I crash for no apparent reason, I will curse the reinvention of the wheel. Lovely. The perfect blend of MS. And the automobile......
I never thought of that combination..lol

What an imagination. Bravo......
Of course many will say the Apple version is more graphic....!

EGAD! What a clever play on technology/'/s grip on us! A reminder that our slave has become our master!
My favorite line is WATCHING LIFE EVAPORATE BETWEEN REBOOT AND RAINSOAKED WIPER BLADES!
You have to love sheer irony! It will be difficult to get this smirk off of my face!

I think it would be if it crashes,
they all do, some error 314, the highway bickering
because of some pronounced huge gigantic bus that has too flattened wheels, and they be all expecting
to save their data/'/s in the cloud. You know the cloud
in the sky, where big buses fly in the future.

great write. wonderful lyrical use of word!!!
extremely cool.

Peace!

A very interesting glimpse on the future, and scary too.
Technology is on the path of the impossibles ..... it/'/s overtaking itself.

Enjoyed - power to your pen.
