I try to remember...
if there something I was doing,
I can not seem to remember.

I think that
I had a uncomplicated plan
that I would be a better man
and try my best to understand
what it is in life that is important
but I have forgotten
why I wanted and needed do it

its so hard trying to original
in a world thats filled with clones
and the matrix internet spreads the view
to be cruel and obnoxious is kool

what a fool I have been
to once to believe in
now they have gone to far
who do they think they are
to treat us like they do
we are all animals in a zoo

when the next war
blows the world away
we will know what fools we have been
to trust the slavers
who keep us for labor
and condition us to be haters

time passes by so swiftly
I use to be healthy now I am sickly
and I am trying to remember...
what was my purpose
there something I was doing
but I have forgotten what it was

we see things that proliferate,
before we ever have any hope
to ever decide
or ever to stand up
and block all that we know is so wrong
it is at the edge
they tell the generation after generation
that is soon enough left with
destiny
and you are and they are
so doing all they can
when you look just anywhere
just everywhere

the mind goes away
it does it often times
almost every time

giving itself no chance
to overcome
its kind
And it is pernicious
And it could change
you know
it should
somehow
One love

Peace!

The repeating theme of this makes it powerful.
None are certain they are on the right path, and you take us to that crossroad without signs,
and express the doubt, disillusion, and self reproach we all face alone.
It is validating to know that others share our experience,
even if they don/'/t speak of it, as you have with such eloquence.

I/'/m with you on this.
I think when you get older you really no longer care
or just don/'/t have the passion or energy to care. Life gets in the way of your dreams and cares and often we are unaware of the days that pass us by...

the very first line pulled me in - "In a daze living in a toxic haze" - and I enjoyed it throughout. I like the rhyme of "slavers" and "labour" too. very nice write overall, it/'/s dismal but so familiar and relatable.
