I try to be nice, friendly and cool
But someone I meet is always faking
Befriending then backstabbing
What is up with you?

There is no charge for kindness
But always a price for betrayal
There is always an evil
Out for some sort of gratification
Not at my expense, I am experienced in spotting you

I know what is up with you
You are a faker who is cruel
The world does not love you
So you take it out on others
But do not fake that funk here
My powers are strong and my wrath is to be feared
It is time you got some help
That is what is up with you

You/'/ve got to tell it like it is.
Put these losers in their place!

Life cleans the lenses. Sounds like you/'/re vision is sharpening up. I like the title; it/'/s what brought me in.

Keep it up, Banjo!

what is some faker/'/s motivation,
the chords the strings,
the melody in any rhythm
that is discordant
and less than true
that just might try to recoup
what they always thought was
some million dollar spot

that they could resell
and then boldly fake sell
to some new found fake friends

who never gave a damn about them?

I dunno, what is up with you,
I dunno, what I can do to assist
you got to tell me
how you need my help -- not you banjo,
you got it going on my man.

fake is easy to distinguish
I mean, a fake watch that always works,
is okay,
but having a very expensive watch,
that is real, and tells precise time, or there about,
does not tell me anything about time that
I dont already know.

the time is precious,
not fake. you have come to know

Peace!

A poem that answers its own question!! How frustrating that annoying people are ignorant of their own condition.
No one wants to be a horses posterior...it requires a great deal of self denial to accomplish. THE WORLD DOES NOT LOVE YOU..
is an understatement well employed to summarize your point. -- How sad are these damaged people-
-- sadder yet, that we have no way to reach them--and saddest of all, that our only recourse is to disregard them. Well said Banjo!

I always think when we are young we fall into the traps of others so easily.
With age comes experience and wisdom and we see through those cloaks of deception more easily.
I totally agree with
"There is no charge for kindness
But always a price for betrayal"

How right you are there!!, bravo.

Steve
