Can cause us so much fright
We sit and we worry
And lay awake the entire night

The comments and questions
They say so politely
Have caused us to be anxious
Which cannot be taken lightly

The pressure and pain
Isn’t all in our head
It has taken control
And we can’t get outta bed

They ask what we mean
When we say they are naive
They don’t understand
Why we always want to leave

We smile and we laugh
Hoping things will be alright
But inside we feel empty
And have given up the fight

Tomorrow will be better
That what they always say
But after all the pain
It’s hard to want to play

What will make you happy
That’s what they want to know
We wish we had an answer
But we just tell them all to go

After many years
I hope someday we’ll see
That pain has held us captive
And the future can set us free

It`s always tough when others can`t seem to understand what goes on inside. And though you seem to have given up, it`s nice to see your ending says you still have hope. Good luck to you.
