It’s a mood. It's "Don’t let go now” It’s “Baby, hold me tight."
It’s “I really truly miss him.” It’s “Wow this sure feels right.”
It’s a thing that happens often, never commonplace nor trite.
It’s what happens when we cannot call to only say “Goodnight.”
It’s where I am when he’s off and gone… away and out of sight.
It’s “There’s a cutie over there”-- remembering our plight
It’s because he’s got me soaring…flying higher than a kite

I sensed the jumble in this...the missing and the exhiliration. Sometimes it hits you out of nowhere when you were just starting to feel REALLY good. I feel that here.

Oh, Chels - I like the ending. The recognition that if it wasn't so good it wouldn't hurt so bad when you're apart.
This is somehow sad but not all at the same time... I don't whether to *hug* you or shout *hooray*! I think I'll go with *hooray!* - cause it applies to the poem as well!

The rhyme scheme was cool. And I loved all of the quoting of the songs and such. Quite unique and creative. But, creative you are, so I expected as much.
