Little liar, little man,
six foot four and still I buy
only the bill of goods I sell;
I am nothing, I can’t believe,
compliments that ring like bells;
even when praise flows,
rivers of generosity.
I won’t drink because I know
despite the ceaseless flow,
I am a liar, a little man.
What I write what I say
means nothing as I am
a little liar, a little man. [comments] => 5 [counter] => 199 [topic] => 75 [informant] => Invierno [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => anguished )

it is so easy to digest that you
are little, especially when, and if
you tried to look up as a kid.
Liar, is often a term tremendously over utilized.
Self blame, it/'/s easy to digest, self internalize
our failings.
Is this good or bad / after all most of the positive
things you did were not for yourself alone, you
were goaded by, enchanted by, what W.S Merwin
the poet, sought to describe, to surrender
by wonder, within any passing cloud, or day,
knowing only how one feels among true
friends.

Peace!

there would be the if,
ever, the if, beyond
repair, the if with no fix.
if you stopped, if you knew,
if the answer was a question,
and if each small breeze could
be captured upon a chart
if each was a sigmoidal curve,
one laid against the next,
we would sit and wait

for an understandable
inflection point
in a ceaseless flow
of generosity
You would know
without plotting
about what made
you my friend.

This cloud in this uncertain sky
was not
something I could
ever make,
The gentle breeze
is always there,
The threshold
in the squeeze of
a hand, some natural
persistence above
the land and Sea scattered
about, weathering
its surface upon
its host.
I push the broom clearing

the dead and dried leaves
away, only hoping they
will come back again
giving me something
to look forward to,
if there are still trees

Peace!

Hang in, dude. You/'/re one of the writers elite. Keep em coming.

wow. but we are all little liars, and compared to the world out there, small and insignificant grains of sand. I do not believe what I see or hear either. But I especially do not believe what the woman in the mirror has to say.
