never will i be silent on my love for this beautiful country
i have traveled our world and thusly met thousands of souls
reinforcing my belief that humanity is basically beautifully
interwoven- with hearts minds souls and spirits intrinsicly
naturally belonging one to another- in most with empathy
in some- not so much
now i am all but a recluse observing this world from afar
researching and writing with as little contact as possible
heart shattering solo from tragedies i have no control over
knowing innocents are killed by savage vindictive monsters
who wherein their hateful crimes make humanity reflect
again aligned as a collective force-
of good- to end the madness- to remember once more to
love- to share kindness- to help and lend a hand or an ear
from the very depths of souls to be patriotic to ones country
gentleness and consideration for humans and animals alike
for earth will go on quite sweetly without us

Beautiful and uplifting.
We also should try to see the good that still exist during the worst of times. Even in "sin city" we all came together and united against evil! |

You are accurate on so many levels. The world goes on without us; it owes us nothing; and we are in its debt.
It is an odd coupling you match eloquently; gentleness and consideration to our fellow man as a form of patriotism. With a common enemy we bond as a nation, care and protect one another. In good times, we fall apart in selfish pursuits.
How odd that war breeds unity.
You have given us much too think about tonight.

should we be silent beautiful
well pronounced with country
decidedly neglectful of profit centers
and inequality where some have it all
and many have not much
should we be silent and not
speak beautiful as we must
be alone utterly in the dark
without speaking to one another
in our gifted lands in our
forlorn tragedies
like Steinbeck like
brothers torn apart
thrown under the bus
for a fathers love
like a pearl
like an island paradise
one sleeping next to another
heart beating against the other
and the wind the boy the girl the
people daunted the mixtures
good and bad, the antigens
the hapten/s the dichotomy
of trying to find the environmental
factors that bleed in our bodies
the clean waters that need to flow
the natural, those things in feed stock
that cause inflammatory response
and create disease
should we forget, forget away
what took thousands of years
to know, passed down
which part, what should we have
learned. What is fraudulent,
less than whole, that you know of
in all your darkest travels
tell me.

This is sweet, beautiful, a little sad, but altogether
wonderful. Exactly what I/'/d expect from you.
And you are right - the Earth //will// go on without
us ....and be much better off for it too.
