The regime has now fallen…lest so it seems, To the victor…the cliché says…go the spoils. Those horrible weapons still remain a mystery, As the advert once said…"Sol…oils ain't oils". The coalition feverishly seeks high and low, But still nothing of a "WMD" has been found. Could it be that the regime was in fact truthful? Have we made a moral and judgmental error profound? The coalition rhetoric is now diffused to the term 'agents', When offering justification before a suspicious world. Are they going to be satisfied with a smouldering Iraq? Or will the war flags on Syria be soon unfurled? One has very good reason to fear the next move, For of the truth…we are only allowed a small proportion. We are 'conditioned' and the victims of mis-information, What we see in the media…is politically engineered distortion. What are their 'agendas' and covert long-term plans? Why so much secrecy…why not disclose their real intention? Or will they continue to defy all moral and ethical codes and laws? Are their plans so morally corrupt…do they defy all humanitarian convention? I like many others…fear a most dire and sinister plot by power, And we that elected them will certainly be the last to know. Where will they lead us…down what horrible road will we be pushed? What means will they employ…to convince us…as more destruction they sow? Give us an honest answer…before we follow you one inch more, We are uncertain…we want to trust you…but you make the job so hard. We are sceptical and indeed suspicious of the paths you lead us down, Reassure us the road is fair and just…not one that God declares as barred!
