When life seems not worth living,
Think of the rose.
The soft red petals,
Shining as the sun.
When words seem too harsh,
Think of the rose.
How water glides off the leaves,
Like phrases rolling off your mind.
When you feel insignificant,
Think of the rose.
How small and meek,
But beautiful colors showing the inside out.
And when you miss the one you love,
Think of the rose.
How it waits through all winter chills,
For the sun, life, and rolling hills.

Beautiful! I love this comparison. It's calming, yet eerie at the same time |
