With his hands upon the skin of her soul,
His fingertips tracing her essence,
He trembled his way into her
And stole, from the world, her presence.

With her breath beating inside his heart,
Her sighs pulsing through his aura,
She tumbled her way into him
And found, there within, his glory.

They spoke in words not yet defined
And touched with nary a movement
They danced to a song all their own
And discovered true fulfillment.

Time would move on, as it does
But this endless moment held them
He had fallen so entirely to her
And she'd fallen, too, to meet him.

Everything then aspired to more
Though, none of it seemed to matter
Except her love echoed in his heart
And his passion deep inside her. [comments] => 13 [counter] => 534 [topic] => 48 [informant] => Silent-No-More [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 43 [ratings] => 9 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => EmotionalPoetry )

To find the perfect words that can describe the meeting of two souls is,perhaps, the literary Grail. With this deeply-passionate and beautiful piece, you have, certainly, hit the button for me; though I understand, fully, the author's comment. You have something wonderful here and I'm warmed for you,

Den

It sorta reminds me of an angel taking someone to heaven. I don't know why, but that seem to hit me as I read the line And stole, from the world, her presence and continued....heaven. Forever, in true love, in heaven, where time has no meaning. I generally like to leave my interpretations to myself and just revel in the moment of your extraordinary writing, which, yeah, I did as I've read this a few times, now, wow, yeah!!!!! Yowza!!!! but just kinda had ta throw that out there. Indeed amazing and heavenly. Always taken back a bit when I read your genius.

Sincerely,

Timbo

At first glance this poem appears sensuous, filled with desire and passion, and sexual connotations. But intuitively it strikes at a more intense essence, to t he depeth of the soul... involving a spiritual element. This is a wonderful and expertly crafted poem.

Well done, Snemmy

Will

Nicely done. I think you've really managed to fuse the sensual and physical with the emotional and spiritual here.

The whole thing speaks of a love so deep and heartfelt it can be nothing but beautiful.

A job very well done!
:D

This is excellent poet! I am thrilled at the depth of feeling, the intensity and the passion captured in your words. This does not just scrape at the edges of such ideas, but plunges deep inside them and revels in it.
I read these words as containing quiet intimacy, but simultaneously I found them to be inherently joyous and celebratory. A beautiful combination!

Truly,
Dom
