[bodytext] => They tried to hide my sins but the bathroom
poet has struck again. I read this phrase on
a male bathroom wall along with a few
other interesting quotes the other day while
I was visiting my brother college. A lot of
colorful quotes I thought to myself. But why
on the bathroom wall? Who are these bathroom
poets?...What kind of person does such a
thing? Who does he/she think his/her audience will
be? I asked myself these questions as I used
the restroom. I guest there are a lot of
these poets roaming the world. Every place
I go pretty much have some colorful off hand quotes
on there bathroom wall; Maybe one day I will have
pleasure of meeting on of these lost poet,
but until that day comes write on my fellow poet,
write on!

I love this Frank description of what people have written on the bathroom walls.
When I was a student, I felt lost. I took an
art class because I was good at drawing,
And I just remember the look of the urinal,
and then, some writing on the wall someone
had written.
There is something about porcelain, the toilet
white, I never forgot this, because my
mind was trying to see clearly about a lot
of things at the time when I was in college,
just getting by with the economics, working
my way through, and then someone had
written with a sharpie, "the grass that is the greenest,
should never need to be mowed", and
I thought, yes, words do not always speak the truth,
but one can learn to be a critical thinker if they
wish to do so, so regarding the truth,
actions always do speak louder than
words. Of course, I read those words not
at the urinal, I read them while I was taking
a poop.
Peace! |
