[hometext] => I met a dying woman today, and am again stunned at the courage of ordinary people.
[bodytext] =>
Having the cautionary tale of being human
under my belt,
cinched and relaxed over the years,
inflated and deflated in no particular order;
quite in the cycle of one or the other even now,
these states of being, of seeing,
are all the same somehow.
That crimson snap,
always on white linen for the cameras,
present in my mind as one awaits the grandfather chimes;
forgotten almost, until crimson eats a cotton black,
and camera less,
a tear escapes with no way back.

You/'/re only human. Isolation makes us feel unique.
When we explore life we find we are all the same. We are all slowly dying. What an introspective write.
Out of the box and a pleasure to read! |

Its good to when you experience ordinary people
just being them selves
looks as if she is fine knowing the end is coming
and thats a good thing.... |

Definitely a different way of looking at death. I have
to say that living each day as if it is your last is the
way that I am trying to do things. Some days are
harder than others but when the time comes im not
going to give up on life but keep going till my last second.
Philosophy is our way of trying to make
sense of the world around us...although I spend alot
of my time doing just that I have also come to realize
that by doing that I tend to miss the beauty of what
is going on around me.
Another thoroughly enjoyed piece from you my
friend.

Ordinary people are amazing each in their own way. We don/'/t have time to know them.
I like that you begin with a disclaimer and close with a crystal clear image of an escaped tear. It gift wraps your story and lets it end in peace.
Perhaps Michael, that is the best we can hope for.
