An image catches my eye
And after a while i realise
That it's everything i try to hide

I can see a girl so sad in her thoughts
Her tears form a river thats wild
She notices me and starts running like crazy
I chase after her for a while

As i run after her she shows me things
That only i would know
Reminding my soul of all the past hurt
Of events that occured years ago

Suddenly i find myself all alone
And as i look in the river i see
That the scared and sad girl i chased after so fast
Turned out in the end to be me

The next thing i know i'm right back in my room
With a tear falling from my eye
And when i think of what i have seen
I struggle trying not to cry

Believe it or not, to me this makes sence
And a lesson from it can be gained
I may think i've delt with the hurt in my past
But some sadness will always remain

a very deliberate write..
filled with longing and the hope that things will be ok..

nice even flow..
throughout as well.
