Array ( [sid] => 98830 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => For Nan [time] => 2005-06-21 11:58:28 [hometext] => my nan finally lost her battle with Cancer today :( [bodytext] => This is for a wonderful mother,
Who loved her kids & gave them cover,
Filled their lives with so much love,
Now she looks down from up above.

This is for a wonderful Nan,
Who gave to us all that she can,
She filled our lives with love & smiles,
Giving us cuddles all the while.

She’s now an angel in the sky,
She’s watches as we sit here & cry,
Never will she be forgotten,
As a memory of Nan could never go rotten.

She touched us all in different ways,
So for her soul we now shall pray,
May she rest in an eternal sleep,
Never feeling pain, never having to weep.

Her soul will live on in everyone here,
In each of our smiles ,in each of our tears,
I write this poem from my heart,
As my Nan & me are never far part.

A beautiful and heart felt tribute to your Nan, pixie. You can feel the emotion in this write. I'm also impressed that for someono who doesn't profess to be very religious, you sure share a spiritual side of yourself here.

Thanks for sharing

Will

What a loving, and touching tribute Pix...This is so sweet, and I'm sure you've given her a smile...Sorry to hear about your Nan; but be thankful she's now free of pain. Take Care.
Scorp.

Echoing the sentiments of everyone here, sorry for your loss.
Out of all my grandparents I only really remember the one, the others all passed away while I was a small child. Those times with my grandfather were special though. You made me think back to those times with this.
Thanks

Steve
