I dont know what it is
These feelings that I have
Ive never felt anything like it before
I think that Im falling in love.
You may not feel the same
But I cant control my heart
Why must this be so complicated?
I am too weak for this.
Why couldnt I be falling for someone
Who actually loves me back?
My heart is becoming my new enemy
It has betrayed me for the last time.
I wish that you could see and feel
How much I really do love you.
Maybe then you would change your mind
And want to be with me too.
I know that you dont mean to hurt me
But its hard for me not to feel pain over this.
You are a really good friend and itll stay that way
But I cant help wanting more.
I wish that I could control this
For your sake and my own
I am fighting this battle with my heart
Knowing that I have already lost.

wow...this poem is really nice! I understand your pain, it has happend to me before. I really like the ending, though sad, but true. I'm sorry you're going through this. Hope he'll someday realize he loves you back.
