[bodytext] => He walked into his room of pottery, He walked over to a shelf, Grabbed a box down, And saw me being by my self. I was clay in his hands, He sat me on a wheel, Started to turn and mold, But I became stiff. I didn't want to change to much, I didn't want to go his way, He put a little love into it, And I began to sway. He molded me into this special being, And then began to smile, But then something happened and I changed myself. I began to do things my way, I read what I wanted to read, Watched what ever movie on my color t.v I dranked what I wanted to, I spoke and I would say, No church for me, No not today. He looked down at me, He could have thrown me away, But he smiled and said child, You can always go your way, You can do what you please, But my child, My ways will give you everything you need. My ways aren't easy, Twenty four hours a day, Seven days a week, Don't take each day child, It is to much, Just take a little step please. So with forgiveness and mercy, And with alot of love, He added to me more, And He never gave up. He didn't throw me in the trash can, He just started all over again, Cause He loves me, and He wants to be my friend. He is the potter, I am the clay, Please make me over Lord, So I can always do your will each day.
