a world we can't stand
a world thats almost gone, do to one person
the one person with a evil face, a face of death
the face that doesn't care, a president that loves war.
now we are hurting, weeping for the lost ones
that he has killed, with his own war, his own hate
why then do we sit and watch, watch the world crumble
we must stand and fight for our country
stand for whats right, lets rebel
show him where we stand, what were about
take these guns, take these signs
for we will show him where we stand

we won't back up, we will plow through those doors
take back this world he has taken
take back america that he has ruined
so join me in this march, the march to freedom
for we are not free now, nor will we if we don't act
So stand up and be heard, and come with me [comments] => 2 [counter] => 165 [topic] => 41 [informant] => skinney86 [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => political )

This country is no longer the one founded on ideals 200+ years ago. Government - whether it is Replublican or Democrat - advances its own agenda. The people of the USA rarely fall onto the radar screen of their concerns.

I feel that accountability is necessary. The worst thing anyone can do is to vote for an incumbent. People should not be able to live as a politician; they should get a real job. Not one that they can vote themselves a pay raise for. Just rambling... a sad poem you vote because our collective voices are never heard.

War is not the answer What is it to us if some people across the world dont know how to run their country. Does that mean that our men have to go die to try to teach people how to live. Its not our buisness and its costing many innocent lives. Let the president get a gun and go out to iraq and fight the war himself Im sick of hearing about it. Its a war that shouldnt be fought, and lives that shouldnt be lost. No war! Peace!
