Bluring the horizon,
Streching out into the distant future,
A distortion of reality.
The lives around her shrivel,
And friendships' bonds become brittle.
The very grass beneath her
Grows brown as she walks away.

My anger is a thunderstorm,
With the warning of dark clouds building,
My strike is sudden, and one bolt may kill,
Rain will fall and winds wil rage,
My fury will destroy everything around me,
But then it will be gone.
And in my wake, the world will bloom
Greener than it did before.

Isn't it better though,
To explode, and fight, and make up,
Than to harbor the seeds of hatred,
And torture those around you slowly?
I injure many, but I harm few,
And my damage is soon repaired.
The effects of your anger last
Long after the fight is done.

The ones caught in between us,
At the mercy of our disastrous rage
Think of them, and take pity
Caught in the middle of a Titan's war.

What good comes of a heat wave?
Bonds broken in a storm can be remade.
Unlike those that die from hunger and sickness,
Because the crops are dead and brown...
Bonds that melt in a heat wave
The rains can not revive.
I wonder, before the storm breaks,
How many more must suffer and die? [comments] => 3 [counter] => 149 [topic] => 43 [informant] => kyarn [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => oops )

Anger in any form is generally destructive for all involved. It should be dealt with, resolved and forgotten as quickly as possible. If not is breeds seeds of destruction that will live forever. No one ever wins in the game of hatred or anger.

a word of warning- do not incite my anger again. the bond that holds us now is as brittle as ever.

don't smother me, and don't get in my way.
