Something in your eyes
Is what first made me notice you
But then I started noticing
All the caring things you do
Something in your eyes
Shows me it still ok to yearn
You do so much for others
Asking nothing in return
Something in your eyes
Says that things will be alright
If I can make it through today
I just may see those eyes tonight
Something in your eyes
Tells me things arent so bad
Sometimes we just wont get
What we just arent meant to have
Yet something in your eyes
Changes when you see his face
I see the look you get
And how none could take his place
Something in your eyes
Shows how much you care for him
So I must hide this longing
And keep it deep within
Something in your eyes
Showed me from the very start
The path for me is blocked
That leads to your heart
So I'll stay hidden in his shadow
Trying hard to hide my sighs
Hoping one day I could be
Something in your eyes...

| It's beautiful. Makes me want to be something in somebody eyes with that one person again. She's lucky to have somebody like you by her side. Beautifully written. I enjoy reading everything that you write. |

Beautiful, holder. Heartbreakingly so. I don't know if this will make any sense... but this comes in a quiet voice and it is simply more potent because of that.
