The shining figure, who came into my night?
My world is turning,
It's not done that before.
He came to unlock my cemetary door,
and threw me into the sun,
or his arms,
I couldn't tell, but I was so warm.

My body until now cold,
I'm different now that I'm growing old,
and my sun is here,
and holds me near,
There is truly no better feeling.
I can almost smile again,
but am too afraid,
That he will drop me back into the black,
and I will not be able to come back,
and see the world with the sun lighting it up.
Where everything is beautiful,
and never dims away. [comments] => 3 [counter] => 171 [topic] => 2 [informant] => AssassinatorGirl [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LovePoetry )

this is womderful! Have faith: if he truly loves you then you have absolutely nothing to fear! If you fear what could happen, then you will not experience the good times that will happen. By fearing a break-up you yourself make it more likely because you are dweling on those thoughts. Live it and take it for what it's worth; who knows, it may turn out exactly the way you want! :)

best wishes
-Seth

With love there must be trust.
Without mutural trust there is no love.
Good poem though.

This is an awesome poem, very touching. The poem is visually appealing and through it I can feel your emotions. I hope that you will not be too afraid to smile. It's trite and clichéd, but when you smile, you do make the world a better place. Especially for you.
