I think the stars have lost their sparkle
Their shine
the warmth of their light has turned cold and dark
As they fade all to nothing while I lay on my back looking up...
And I remember the feeling of being happy
I remember that feeling of being alive
I remember giving a **** about what happened in the future
I used to care about what happened to me
but I doubt if I will care tomorrow...
she told me straight to my face
with those eyes I swore held only love
the true feelings she held for me
a failure
a waste
a mistake
And right now I just wish I had something to hold onto
As I try and try and try
To fight a good fight
While that feeling of wasted effort sinks in
And right now I'm feeling so ******* alone
While I've been sitting on this low
For so long
and all I can say is...
when all you do is suffer
it hurts even when you feel joy.
Family........
and love
Taken from me
Replaced with sorrow
As here I am
On my knees
giving up on tomorrow
~now I pray to thee before I sleep
to your ******* hands my soul to keep
whilst my mind dwells in death and fright
wishing for you to cover me in safety's light
and were I to perish before the morns break
one hell of a cursed soul will I make
and as you slay me down to reap
i swear I hate you ***** creep ~
g'night mom I hate you too

Dude this was such an emotional and good poem too.I know what you feel like,trust me,you gotta hold on,you feel so numb but you'll get through this and you'll get your feeling back,and there will be no letting go.t/c and it will be ok.peace.

This was clearly a very emotional write. It sucks severly when those we love are cruel to us. Don't worry about what she said. It's your opinion of yourself that counts. The poem itself was excellent. The prayer ending was great. Oh, one more thing-
Don't go to bed angry...stay up all night plotting revenge! |

This is an outstanding poem overflowing with sadness and emotion. You've conveyed ur feelings really well, but I can also feel the pain and sadness that dwell in ur heart. Hang tuff my friend. The ones that hurt us are usually the ones who are the closets to us. Goodluck and I hope everything works out 4 u.
