valntines and dripping wax

ive been born a hundred times
outside of my room's window
in sunflowers like morning stars

into the light i kneel
and listen to myself sigh
as sky currents stream softly

the echo,
mourning fears,
is repetitive as rain
tapping, dripping slowly,
emptying me of sane.

requests now could be
like childrens eyes
gleaming and glimmering at unopen gifts
or an old mans dry face
hoping for a rain storm
to tare the willows

"So what am i to ask my dear?
maybe lean slowly into my shoulders
maybe shake me till i can see
see love and share peace"

peacefully i wish indeed
achefully i wish, i plead

" i want to be

for something

i want to be

for you

i want to be for nothing
because i am from nothing

What an incredibly descriptive and visual poem!! I"m such a fan of rhyme and imagery and this one nail it right on the button. The emotions were absolutely brilliant! I applaud your talent and look forward to more.
