And shouldn't dwell in sadness
For I shall confess
He lived in happiness.

A soul's never burdened when
The heart's at peace
With a life that transcends
And doesn't cease.

He's purer than us all
With an innocent heart.
His angel wings will halt his fall
To stop his sins from ripping him apart.

Today, as friends, we gather from afar
To seek memories from each other
Of the beloved presence never marred
As he was our brother.

These words echo with only silence to reply
Of the priest's eulogy of the boy that died

A touching poem, so beautifully written. Losing anyone whether family or friend can be hard. I love this poem because I can relate to it.
