How not to judge but to forgive
To master these traits we must try each day
At home at school at work at play,
We seem to be born knowing how to judge
Turn on each other and refuse to budge,
Being so mean as to strip meat from the bone
And often willing to cast the first stone.

This is a task that we’ve got to fight
By remembering always we’re in Gods sight.
When we judge, it goes against all he’s taught
This is not the bait he sent for us to be caught.
Do unto others as you’d have them do unto you,
That’s his message we have to follow through
And though we have to uphold the law of man
In our heart and soul we should judgement ban.

God’s our Father is the one who qualifies
To judge us because of has all seeing eyes,
And if we do wrong his forgiveness shows
For like his everlasting love it constantly flows.
Yes! God’s forgiven man for all he has done
Even the murder of his most precious son,
So He’s not asking more from you or me
Because how more forgiving can anyone be?

The act of forgiveness must start within
By forgiving yourself for your every sin,
Love yourself and forgive yourself too
Because if you can’t don’t expect others to.
And once forgiveness as filled your heart
The bitterness within it will quickly depart.
Leaving you full of forgiveness and love
Then you can leave judging to God above.
