I stop and lie Still and content, It washes me.
Like a hose It flushes through my mind. Eyes shut
Body foetal. People pass by, There not here with me.
Im free, Just the street noise I have no need of.
A peace Like being dead A gift of a living suicide.
Ignore me. Im here to be ignored I must be seen to be ignored.
A cut would bleed Or bruise or scare, I must stop and curl.
Hugging the path, The bitter floor kept me warm To show the ache.
Cant they see? Those fish, those ants. They have nothing.
Sinking deeper I have my escape From them.
Do they even know? Cant they understand? Trying to hurt me,
But I have a getaway.
