Secret rhythms that capture the beat
The essence of the moment complete
Fortunate events occur at last
In a sequencing pattern nonetheless
Pastimes of favorable outcomes
The measurement of prosperity
A mold of prominent success
I keep quite as the situation progress
In the meantime I sip and stare
A brief connection that isnt quit there
For you at the time I so choose
The music plays loud only I stand to loose
Keeping your distance just near
My relentless persistence to give you an ear-
Full of my conscious and intentional pain
I drink and read and try to regain
A balance so lost the words split in the air
A foundation of delinquency, impaired
The gas from the ceiling drowns the tear
The smoke consuming my very last-
Fear is a common misperception
If the fear only knew its own intentions
A confused fear unleashed spontaneously
The programmed conspiracy-
Commence count down to infinity
Your face spins around your throat continuously
The whisky and wine that set me free
I can just ignore your beauty, as if you never existed-
Resisted urges persecute my reality
They judge my decency, and my willingness
To move forth on a path unknown
I put in my dollar and pick the next two songs
The smokers gather in the front yard
They pass the lighter in a precise order
A bonfire of cancerous inhalations
A misfire, the gun goes haywire, spraying its ammunition
Ducking heads obscuring my view
A smile leaps out from inside of you
No one noticed, but I saw it loud and clear
The dilemma of uneasiness erupted
Correlated facts that cant make sense
A matter of coincidence that they now replace
The message of the romance that once took place
Was to always love another
Just in case, Just in case
