Chaos ringing in my ears It buzzes and shapes the mold Of every eternity to come It is the leader amongst a world Of disastrous followers The beacon of every downfall And the defeat of every muse It's there to beat the drum And leave the pulse resonating Beneath the roots of an earth That has no time And has no love It is pitiful but gaudy And all who want it Stand in awe of its brilliance That shines like dull jasmine Beneath a fire That they cannot touch But they feel its very presence Etching at their faces Slowly until they have grown old And wonder satiates their mind They weep because they are naive And so a world of an engaged people Is stipped to a world Of the blind
