[hometext] => For all you storm lovers out there...
[bodytext] => No, I couldn’t see you today. As depressing as that is, I wasn’t surprised. But at least I got to talk to you. I remember the days when I couldn’t even do that. Can we say, Torture? And when I wasn’t talking to you, I was outside. Sitting just close enough to the door, So that I was not getting wet. Because it was raining pretty hard. There I was wrapped up in my blanket, And wrapped up in the thunder. Soaking it all in and wishing you could be with me. I wanted to write this while I was out there, But I tried to write a poem in the rain once. You can’t even write one word Before a drop comes down and ruins it. The overall outcome isn’t pretty. Anyways. Baby I know that we have not spent that much time together. But we will. Soon, You’ll see. And I hope it is still raining, When I do get to see you. I hope you’ll be in a romantic mood, So that we can sit and wrap ourselves Up in a blanket, And in the thunder. I miss you. But it won’t be for long.
