Except wiser now, and more on my own
A cry in the night, same old shot in the dark
The bullet flies blindly to match my own heart

That screams louder than a gun
Still not loud enough for you,
To penetrate your heart
Like only a true love could

And I’m not that desperate
No, I never really was
But losing is a hobby
And I’d like to quit the club

If I had my way
I would tear my heart in two
To give me back my life
So I could forget about you

And there are so many things
I’d like to say to you
But there’s nothing more to hear
I’ve already killed the mood

So this is for everyone, who feels the way I do
A silent realization, that someone else feels like you too
And I hope this poem can offer hope,
For what you’re going through
Because there’s nothing worse than loving someone
And knowing they don’t love you [comments] => 3 [counter] => 156 [topic] => 22 [informant] => xsitm [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LostLove )
