Array ( [sid] => 89854 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => LIFE [time] => 2005-04-04 15:40:51 [hometext] => I wrote this when we were going through a very rough patch...It is quite long but bear with me...Please [bodytext] => She was 17, a mother and alone. He was 17, an athlete and free.
Somehow the stars led them to each other.
One night while out with friends she saw him and thought he was the best thing ever.
He saw her and thought how wonderful the fates were treating him.
He showed her how all relationships didn't have to be trying.
She thought through him she had a chance at a happy forever.
He showered her with flowers, love and affection but most of all attention.
They fumbled through their "first time" together.
They enjoyed each other and her daughter.
Together they embraced another daughter almost two years later.
He cheated, she took him back.
They stood in front of family and friends and vowed to love, honor and cherished one another.
They held each other every night.
He left, said he couldn't take the pressures of marriage.
She cried, she smoked, she cried some more.
He came back, confessed seeing another woman.
She accepted his infedelity again.
He promised her he would never leave her again.
She accepted all that he promised and submitted to him.
Together again they welcomed another baby girl into the world.
They finally thought they had it all.
She went to school, he worked.
Together they raised their daughters.
She loved him, he loved her.
She got pregnant again, she lost the baby.
She felt responsible and took all the blame.
He couldn't handle any of it.
She got angry and fought him.
They hit a plateau.
She lived, breathed and slept but barely loved.
She suppressed all the pain and went on.
He lived no matter what.
They found their way to each other again.
They found out another child was on the way.
She was scared, he felt the same.
They welcomed that child, another girl, into their lives.
She went crazy, out of her mind. She wanted to hurt him.
She needed him to feel her anger and pain.
He worked longer and harder and stayed away.
They drifted apart.
They lost their home and lived with family.
She wanted to leave and branch out on her own.
She had no courage.
She stayed away for almost one whole night.
They found a new home and survived for a while.
He expected so much of her and she wanted so much from him.
She needed him...SHE NEEDED HIM!!!
He got busy in his life.
They floated in that pattern for months.
She is still angry and he is still busy.
They never make love only have sex.
She is miserable, she hates him and wants him to hurt too.
He avoids feeling his emotions and ignores hers.
She wants out.
He says he wants her to stay.
She knows he won't change.
She plans to leave but has no where to go.
She thought she had found true love.
She questions that now.
He stays busy, still. [comments] => 1 [counter] => 168 [topic] => 48 [informant] => nativesunflower4 [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => EmotionalPoetry )
