Since I last saw your face.
Without you here this world is empty,
It's such a lonely place.

After ten hours I thought I could take it,
I knew you'd be back in a few short days.
But every second feels like a minute,
And every minute feels like a decade.

A full day has passed,
And my will has grown weak,
It's just not enough,
To hear you speak.

Now a second day has passed and i'm crying inside,
And your not around to wipe away the tears.
Now I long for the day after tomorrow,
When I can hold you and rid myself of these fears.

Now a third day has past,
And I see that my sorrow was nothing more than jest.
Because now all that stands between our love,
Is a good nights rest.

I can hear every word your poem speaks. I have spent those lonely hours.

You have a nice approach to sharing the love to your lover.

*****Because now all that stands between our love,
Is a good nights rest.

Rest cures.. to be able to stand one more day.. One more day less from the pains of sorrow and of lonliness.

Beautiful write here my friend.
