She was a quiet girl until you came along
And gave her something to talk about
She fell in love with you and you stole her heart
Then you took from her, now she's left without
The only one who could give to her
A happiness she'd never know
And her only wish was that she could return
To you a joy that made you whole

She's a lonely girl

She could've given you the world?
She was a girl of dreams until she lost the will
To stand up for what she believed in
'Cause when you left her alone that day
She cried,"I really thought I could believe him"
You were the only one who would give to her the time of day
And she never would have thought that you would change.
Look at her now,
She's a lonely girl.
Didn't you know,
She could've given you the world?
Now when she's alone, she thinks about
All that you had said.
About the way that you still make her feel
And how you might as well be dead.
If only you'd say something to show her
You still care...
Why don't you even act like you still care?
