[bodytext] => Out on my doorstep sat four bloody roses Symbolizing the four days you’ve been gone I open a new door after an old one closes But there’s no erasing what you have done I pricked my finger on a sharpened thorn Blood trickling out of the open sore And I rub my eyes so red and so worn The pain is even deeper, hurting even more I can’t believe what you’ve done to me To cut so deep then leave me to die I’m drowning now, you’ve made me bleed And now I have no tears, inside I cry The four bloody roses tightly coil around my heart Until it silently shatters in the night And now that you have torn me apart Are you finally satisfied? A puddle of blood forms in my hands As I grip the roses so firmly in my fists And I know that you will never understand As the blood drips down my palms and to my wrists Carefree I was, to trust you so far ahead I take the pills and take too many doses And now because of you I am dead I thank you for the four bloody roses [comments] => 3 [counter] => 162 [topic] => 48 [informant] => blue_angel [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 10 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => EmotionalPoetry )
