[hometext] => This is basically a poem about two friends who want to make it more than just a friendship, however the timing is not right, so it's the feelings that comes with waiting and how you decide to handle yourselves during the time you're waiting.
[bodytext] => Who would've guessed Snow falling Lights flickering Would change our existence somehow So daunting So familiar So vulnerable Yet so desirable Emotions swept us up Truth washed us away Light exposed the unexposed Disguises were stolen Leaving only what's real With all doors unlocked In whose hands would the keys remain? Wondering Anticipating Tears of joy? Tears of pain? For the first time It was a battle of tears Both extremes fought Who would win? It never mattered Because we had a choice To drown in tears of pain Or to see a beauty Being washed clean in tears of joy For the rain will never cease But our perspective is in our hands Do we fret over potential flood? Or do we anticipate the flowers it spurs to grow? While at first In that sea we saw us drown We now see land Flowers are appearing A long awaited transformation While ominous clouds May always be too close Fire from heaven is always on the otherside In the end It will always burn through the clouds A friendship once so unsure Is now engraved in stone As the truth says A true friend loves at all times And is born ofr distress Always remember This is real My friendship Will never be a mirage to your tired eyes.
