People.
Baseball.
Grilling food in the summer.
The smell of grilling food in the summer.
The way the clouds look like an ocean.
The way there are pictures in that ocean.
The ocean.
The sunset.
The full moon as it falls on our tired faces.
Watching the sunrise.
Walking in a depleted morning light.
The breeze in spring.
The dreams where we fly.
Life.

Kings in stories.
Stories that happened.
The names of streets and why there named that way.
Being little.
Being young.
Getting started…
Being done.
Fairy tales.
The verses in a song.
When we were right.
When we were wrong.
A whales song.
The things that were there all along.
Being exactly where we are.
Where we belong.
Fate.

The mystery of things outside of science.
Magic.
Rainstorms.
Blackouts where we have to get by on candle light.
The relief we felt as the lights came back on.
The sound of raindrops on our windows.
The sight of raindrops on our windows.
Having time to look at the raindrops.
Not rushing around.
Being wanted.
Being loved.
Looking for something.
Finding it.
Buying candy after swimming lessons.
Watching movies on Friday nights with our families.
The way everything was exiting when we were young.
Everything.
Innocence.

Not knowing about things.
Not being kept from knowing things.
Not having to hear it sugar coated.
The way the snow looks at night.
The isolation when it’s snowing at night.
How the sky is light when it is snowing at night.
Deciding that your alright.
Knowing you can make it.
Knowing your not alone.
Understanding you never were.
Not having to fake it.
The way peppermint tastes like Christmas.
Christmas.
The last goodbyes you’ll ever say to someone.
The words you would have liked to have said instead of goodbye.
Stories that make you cry.
Knowing you can still cry.
Kindness.

The unknown.
Discovery.
Staying up past bedtime and telling ghost stories.
Chocolate.
A fire in the fireplace.
Inspiration.
The smell of chlorine.
Old friends you do not see anymore.
The places you’ll go…
The places you’ve been.
Doing the right thing.
Letting go of a burden.
Back when things were normal.
Your spirit.
Heaven.
Wondering about heaven.
Talking to Jesus when you had no trouble believing.
God.
