Array ( [sid] => 87860 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => The inner battle [time] => 2005-03-18 08:27:19 [hometext] => This is just one of many poems i write in order to vent my daily frustrations with myself and with life.. [bodytext] => And the never ending battle ensues
With what I cannot grip inside my mind,
And what we call a soul, is just an extension of my pain
But more securely then ever before
the vice is pressed against my skull,
Crushing, Entrapping,..choking, my only voice

And I.. Invite it.. Welcome it.
Find comfort within the discomfort
That if I could take on everyones pain
That if it was possible.. I would secretely take it upon myself
Pray for the corruption to one day stop, to see the wheels dead in their tracks
To see wounds to heal, scars to fade.. Souls saved..

Do I create this world
Was I the one who envisioned these thoughts
Violently brought to life..
Of hate, fear, love and lust
Burried along with your name and my hope
Do you define me, Do I somehow define you
In this world of impossibility and uncertainty
That if we do connect, trick the mind, sever the pattern
We can escape the mundane but revel in the simpleness
That We might take this further than anyone ever has
Or ever will..

Thinking has become my daily ritual of torture
My memory has become selective and vengeful
it has bred, multiplied. it has spawned this spite, hate and resent..
Inside me..
And I feel dissolved.. Watered down
For this world.. To accept their fake embrace
In order to let them conduct
To Lead, and destroy anything unique..
Oh What it could mean to finally push and grind and claw our way… away
Away from the masses, away from our own skin,
Away from our own kind..

The tasteless victories, the shallow lies
The way we invite bull***** into all that we have become
The superficial, the hatred, the lack of compassion and love
Surpasses anything I ever thought a person could be
These people infect and destroy every corner of our lives
For these people, the price is high
Their flaws unacceptable and unforgivable
And I for one
Cannot wait to see them burn
into the meaningless ashes
of their pityful existence..

Rest your mind, let it breathe with fresh air. See the ocean and the amazing different feature inside of it, wow! fabulous things, the sky, we have a freedom to look at this so let us free ourselves for awhile in this beautiful scene. Amazing that we are here in whatever battle in life. Thank you we are not alone in this journey.
