I am broken
And stomped on and ridiculed
But mostly outspoken

No one ever listens
To what I have to say
No one understands
How I feel everyday

I'm no good at words
So I fail to express how I feel
And everyone everlooks me
No one is for real

I'm not reduced to crying
Bloody wrists don't help anymore
Nothing left but sadness
My anger's dried up on the floor

My parents became what I feared
Followers of the crowd
Now it seems we can't speak to each other
Unless we end up loud

The used to be my heroes
There was nothing they couldn't do
What happened to the people Lord
That I used to look up to?

They will not listen when I try to say
How much they have changed
I cannot speak to them civilly
Without having my face rearranged

I turn to prayer rather than suicide
My wish is not to reside in Hell
I do not with for eternal darkness
But I do wish for all to be well [comments] => 4 [counter] => 176 [topic] => 13 [informant] => upomik [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DarkPoetry )
