Why dont we hear it?
'You gotta buy less stuff!'
Where do you think were going?
'Isnt enough for you enough?'
Perhaps because our politicians
And the producers are in bed?
And the collective suicide of all
Never enters a single head?
Nothing of that, no nothing at all
But only growth, profits and jobs
And dont forget the votes
No matter whos life it robs
Were headed for a product hell
As sure as **** is ****
With the politicians leading us
Into the heart of it
Cosumption, waste and growth
Thats all we ever hear
Create ever more goods and jobs
Get that economy in gear
And where will all this take us?
Where will it all end?
With the world going down the John
Thats a CERTAINTY my friend
