[bodytext] => Tim McGraw sang of cabriolets,
But our love didn’t happen that way. Ours started in a tower above, The city we thought was there for us. I kissed her cheek when we were young, Swore I’d never give her up. She never seemed to change with time, As the world turned round she stayed mine. We’d wander around as our lives past, But the good times never seemed to last. She called me up one afternoon, Said you’re gonna be a father soon. I talked to her for a couple of hours, Then our love seemed to turn sour. I wanted her to marry me, But she said that it could never be. She lost the child and went away, I don’t know where she is today. I still love her with all my heart, But it seems our lost child tore us apart.
