Why does everything move in a blur?
Why don't people slow down
Even for a second or two
My life is spinning out of control
With nowhere to turn
I feel alone with this pain and fear
As everything speeds around me
I try to slow down but
Everyone wants me to speed up
I wish that today everything would slow down
So I can remember it all
Until then I'll look around and
Look at everything like a blur
