I see a feast of angels
plattered wings and scavenged eyes
" Burn baby!

Bitten off in sodomy
a hand for one
a head for three
the castle is vacant

a soulless way paved for the victor
a heaven burnt for the loser
and the game run by no other
than the mightiest of all
in the golden calf we trust
for god we slay them all
And what a kingdom for a day
and what a nothing for the night
Wear your crown bastard son!
Wear your diamonds by your sun
and a torch will hold the moon tonight
a breathless beauty of human kind
and by the next morn
we will see
a sun worn out in blackened flesh
and a torch still burning for all to see

Very very nicely done. This is a powerful write and is incredibly thought-provoking. You've given me something slightly more pleasant to ponder this night. Excellent piece of writing.
