The World Is My Stage

the WORLD is my STAGE
my LIFE is the PLOT
i MUST entertain
but ACT i CANNOT
for the STORY is TRUE
and thus IT is BORING
the LACK of EXCITEMENT
is returned with LOUD SNORING
but DEEP in the CLIMAX
a SEQUENCE UNWINDS
a TALE of TWO INNOCENTS
to be RESOLVED over TIME
a LOVE DEEP and THRIVING
a LONG SAD SEPARATION
an INTENSIFYING LONGING
an UNDESIRABLE SENSATION
of FIRE DEEP, BURNING
CONSUMING NOT DESTROYING
a PAIR of HEARTS
SINGED but not BURNT
WARMED not SCARRED
OPEN, NEVER BARRED
and though the END
is to be DETERMINED
the AUDIENCE sit and wait
the SNORING SUBSIDED to
an AWE INSPIRED SILENCE
and within IT only QUESTIONS
