I dream
Every day of a future
A place
Somewhere to regain
...What I lost...
To get back what was taken
To reclaim what is mine
I picture it so clearly
I am there
perfection
peace
I walk
Looking for this place
I'm almost there now
I see it
Just a little longer now
It slams
a door in my face
Why?
Why?
Why?
I ask this question
Time and time again
I still hear no answer
Why?
Why?
Why?
What did I do?
Did I commit a sin, far greater than one can see?
I live day by day
Trying to right the wrongs
Trying to be sincere
Trying to be right
What did I do?
I cry now
Tears run down
I taste the salt
Bittersweet
I lay
my eyes shut
My mind goes away
I'm there
but not quite
just a figment
not real
Somebody
Please
Save me
