I thought he loved me But he was just playing With my heart and mind I wouldn’t believe what they were saying. He had the most wonderful kiss And held me in the night When we made love It felt so right. Please tell me why I couldn’t see What he was doing? I guess I was so far deep I thought my heart didn’t need any moving. When we walked through the park Holding each other’s hands I didn’t know what I was getting into I guess this is where it lands. I’ve heard someone say Don’t trust anyone But I didn’t listen I was having too much fun. I found out different When he broke my heart in two He held my hand tightly And told me we were through. Can I learn to love again? I feel my heart coming through my chest I think I am going to get through this And along with all the rest.
