[hometext] => This is one of the early ones, but I still think it's good. Use as comparison, I guess. Comments appreciated! ^_^
[bodytext] => Beauty is the demon hand that pulls us from our woes And makes us believe we are just to harbor hatred so. From under the crest of yonder light, we're hidden in the dark: We let the darkness flow in our veins and hold it to our hearts. But, alas, in tale of old we are taught to love. Still we lie to ourselves and befriend the opposite of. We never see the crystal sky, sparkling and clear Or the abysmal darkness that draws ever near. Our minds are clouded, always thinking we are fair and just, But one day humanity will see we can't be what we must. Such is the curse of man to know such a fate: That our mortality will keep our dreams until it is too late. 11-15-04 [comments] => 1 [counter] => 158 [topic] => 21 [informant] => CrystalTIgerBloodrose [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => Lifepoems )
