And set It on the shelf
I start to wonder and think
About me and my future self

I gaze at the handle
And it's trigger
Knowing it can handle
All of my problems
That are getting bigger

My life is a cesspool
And a group of lies
Knowing this gun is my tool
Thats going to rid you all
Of my worthless life

I grab the gun
Feeling nobody will never understand
Why my life is over run
They'll never understand why I ran

As I start to taste the metal
And looking through the scope from the wrong side
I notice my life is closest to a roses fallen petals
The wind gets rid of it when it can no longer hold on
They would rather just be swept away and die

My life ends
Tasteing a bullet
And pool of red blood
Did'nt know I could actually go through with it
Guess I really could

Powerful poem. Shows light on how it feels to be in that situation.

I usually detest suicide poetry since every other poem is a long drug out self pity bit. But this one is different and I really like it. Your a good writer and know when not to go in so deep to the point of being pathetic. It's simple and too the point. Good write.
