Poetic Pornography
'please do not be so mean'
you cry so helplessly
you shed your tears in words poems you write
but hate comments put critically
'cause you want acceptance
and you want to be good
but you never knew what poetry was
and yes i am being very rude
but i choose to stay honest
because of losers like you
who hope that someone will cherish
the 'thing' that you do
excuse my choice of words
but you used the rest of the dictionary
to make your pitiful poems
oh so "ordinary"
just shut up and speak the language
of where youre living now
why try to impress the world
when you really dont know how
im sick of all you 'gothic' poets
who cry about the pain inside
just go outside and get a tan
and quit always tryin to hide
all you people who write about anger
and about your emotions
dont give us bogus definitions
just come out and show us
what you feel in a poem
not a group of SAT words
you never make sense
why say "fecis" when you can say "turds"
my point through all this stupidity
is stop tryin to be what youre not
write about the way you really are
or have you all forgot
its sad what people call poetry today
if you can write 3 pages from a phrase
they call you a great poet
and they give you all the praise
but poetry is simple
and it should be fun as well
if its about love
or being damned to hell
in the end all im saying
is stop pretending fake men
take off these masks you wear
and be yourselves again
