I straightened my hair.
I wore the blouse,
that I hate.
But wear it
Just because it looks 'pretty'
on my useless frame.
I got on the bus,
with lifted confidence.
Yet no one noticed.
No hi
No Hello,
No I like what you did with your hair.
What was I expecting?
I put on my best fake smile
and walked into school,
hoping and praying
someone would notice me.
But what was I expecting?
I go through my whole day,
as if I was a robot.
What was I expecting?
I get on the bus,
and arrive to my home
of hell.
I can't do anything right now can I?
I wash off my make up,
and turn my radio up loud.
What was I expecting?
I counqured the world silently,
unnoticed,
yes thats true.
But what was I expecting? [comments] => 2 [counter] => 181 [topic] => 43 [informant] => AngelOnFire [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => oops )

This really shows the inner turmoil so many face and have to endure..the line about the radio..I love it. Keep up the good work.. even if it is conquering the world silently and without praise..it is wonderful..turn down the radio, and turn up the writing!!! :-)

I think you should start the day with a POSITIVE outlook, not one that you think people wanna see...be yourself...
...live life like you enjoy what God has given us...we are so blessed...I am guessing your a nice, sweet young lady that is quite unhappy with her life... I hope it gets better...Your writting is good ....Shari
